Venue

We have chosen the grounds of SC Emtmannsberg as the venue for the EFC 2026. The club grounds, a soccer field, are located just outside Emtmannsberg on the edge of the forest, surrounded by fields and forest. It is easy to reach by car, caravan or motorhome. The historic mountain village of Emtmannsberg is a small community with just under 1,000 inhabitants. It is located on the northern edge of Franconian Switzerland, just 10 km away from Bayreuth. In the town center there is a listed castle which houses a restaurant with a beer garden and Bavaria’s smallest village shop.There is also a pizzeria here. The nearest supermarkets are just 6 km to 7 km away. Bayreuth is also just around the corner.

Austragungsort

Als Austragungsort für den EFC 2026 haben wir das Gelände des SC Emtmannsberg gewählt. Das Vereinsgelände, ein Fußballplatz, liegt etwas außerhalb von Emtmannsberg am Waldrand, umgeben von Feldern und Wald. Er ist gut mit dem Auto, Wohnwagen oder Wohnmobil zu erreichen. Das historische Bergdorf Emtmannsberg ist eine kleine Gemeinde mit knapp 1.000 Einwohnern. Es liegt am nördlichen Rand der Fränkischen Schweiz, gerade 10 km von Bayreuth entfernt. Im Ortskern befindet sich ein denkmalgeschütztes Schloss, das eine Gaststätte mit Biergarten sowie Bayerns kleinsten Dorfladen beherbergt. Auch eine Pizzeria ist hier. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind bereits nach 6 km bis 7 km erreichbar. Auch Bayreuth ist direkt um die Ecke.

Accessibility / Erreichbarkeit

Bayreuth is very easy to reach via the A9 motorway and from there you can either take the B2 federal highway via Wolfsbach or the B22 federal highway via Lehen to Emtmannsberg. Thanks to the Bayreuth Festival, Bayreuth and its surroundings also have numerous hotels, guest houses and overnight accommodation options.

Bayreuth ist sehr gut über die BAB A9 zu erreichen und von dort aus kann man entweder über die Bundesstraße 2 über Wolfsbach oder über die Bundesstraße 22 über Lehen nach Emtmannsberg gelangen.

Durch die Festspiele in Bayreuth verfügt Bayreuth und seine Umgebung auch über zahlreiche Hotels, Pensionen und Übernachtungsmöglich-keiten.
